Creighton University: Skutt Student Center Plaza

This plaza provides an outdoor space encouraging social interaction and offers opportunities for various student activities such as dining, studying and relaxing in-between classes.
A portion of the Student Center is located beneath the plaza. The project included the installation of a geo-foam membrane below the surface of the new plaza to more effectively distribute the weight on the structure below while also protecting against leaks in the below-grade roof. An extended walkway intersecting the California Street Mall links the Skutt Student Center with the Reinert-Alumni Memorial Library.
