This Master Plan serves as a user-friendly strategic plan to prioritize improvements, providing a clear 20-year vision of a vibrant and sustainable 21st-century park and recreation system.

Confluence led the process of conducting a detailed site inventory and analysis for each of the existing 40 parks and open space areas that comprise the City's 1,550-acre park system. This inventory included reviewing existing conditions, programmed features, accessibility and community use of these facilities.  Additionally, Confluence facilitated a series of public engagement workshops that engaged community residents and other stakeholders in identifying needs, strengths, weaknesses and opportunities.

The plan serves as a useful and effective tool for the City of Edina to proactively address future improvements and enhancements to their park system.
