This mixed-use development includes retail, restaurants, entertainment, a boutique hotel, multi-family residential, and class A office space centered around a dynamic Village Green - designed to accommodate a variety of uses and activities.
Our team served as the landscape architect in collaboration with the project architect to develop the overall urban design and open space plan. Our professionals led the creation of the central Village Green, the unifying streetscape design, and all landscape/hardscape design details. This was the largest development project ever undertaken in Orange Village, which required extensive assistance during the entitlements phase to address issues related to project size, density, and proximity to existing residential areas.
The design creates a Downtown for Orange Village focused on the new Village Green connected by an inviting, retail-friendly, pedestrian-oriented streetscape. This Green hosts events including musical performances, movies in the park, and has become a new gathering place for the surrounding community. Our role also included creating a Grand Staircase with integrated seating to connect the upper level movie theater to the Central Park - while also providing a commanding vantage point overlooking the development.
