"Confluence has brought to the table a creativity that is refreshing, as well as a team of design professionals who are friendly, knowledgeable and innovative. Their open process of engaging the community led to development of a unique and realistic plan."

Through a facilitated community-driven design process, the Main Street corridor received an aesthetic makeover - creating momentum for redevelopment and revitalization efforts in this burgeoning Midtown District.
After leading the creation of a streetscape master plan for this corridor, Confluence led four distinct phases of streetscape design/implementation. The design focused on prioritizing pedestrian circulation, building stronger district brand identity and creating an energetic vibe that appeals to new businesses and residents alike. The design proposals and construction sequencing were coordinated with existing Bus Rapid Transit facilities to ensure rider service and experience were not compromised during construction.
The design repositions the Main Street Corridor as a destination district while integrating story-telling moments, pedestrian spaces reclaimed from vehicular use, stormwater best management practices and additional street and pedestrian lighting to improve safety and security.
