Confluence is a growing landscape architecture, planning and urban design firm with offices in Kansas City’s Historic River Market. Our firm has 9 offices throughout the Midwest, with ~75 professional staff collaborating with private and public-sector clients, architects, engineers, and communities to create places full of life. Our marketing functions are based in the Kansas City office, and support all office locations including Des Moines, Denver, Cedar Rapids, Omaha, Sioux Falls, Minneapolis, Fargo, and Chicago.

We seek a bright and talented marketing/communications team member with writing, social media, and proposal coordination capabilities. While experience or interest in the Architecture/Engineering field is preferred, we welcome recent University graduates with the right combination of skill, drive, personality, and creativity to become part of our team.

This position will assist our marketing team in supporting the firm’s marketing efforts and related coordination activities throughout our network of offices.  This includes meeting deadlines and coordinating with office leaders and collaborating with staff to create marketing materials, proposals, and programs that communicate firm qualifications and capabilities. Managing the firm’s social media efforts and integrating our web presence is also anticipated.

This position offers great opportunities for professional growth and development in a collaborative team environment.  Strong communication skills and experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign), Sprout Social or related social media services, e-mail marketing software experience, and related software programs for tracking and scheduling purposes are a must. Any experience with Cosential/Unanet is considered a plus.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing or related field

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign) and Sprout Social or related social media services
