Germantown Apartments

Nashville, Tennessee

Confluence is providing site planning and landscape architectural services for a new urban-infill residential development located in the Germantown area of Downtown, Nashville. The project consists of an upscale four-story, 180-unit apartment building with attached structured parking designed to complement the existing neighborhood context in this emerging, eclectic residential mixed-use district. A series of amenity courtyards and gathering spaces are integrated into the development, providing a range of flexible use areas to serve residents and guests.

Each of these amenity areas are crafted to appeal to the anticipated tenant demographic, and include a club room that connects with the primary courtyard which features a swimming pool, outdoor fireplace and grilling stations, sun deck and seating spaces, and deck game areas. A secondary courtyard is designed as a garden retreat anticipated for more passive uses and includes a variety of seating options with ambient lighting and a water feature. The “Skyview Lounge” is perched on the top floor of the complex, and includes a party room complete with a full kitchen, dining and seating areas, an outdoor fire pit, and exterior lounge seating and screen space for movies and sporting events. This lounge also takes full advantage of dramatic views to Downtown Nashville and the Nashville Sounds Baseball Stadium located a few blocks away.
