McKennan Park
Sioux Falls, South Dakota
McKennan Park is referred to as the ‘Jewel’ of the Sioux Falls park system. The park was first established in 1908 and consists of 22-acres located in central Sioux Falls. Context around the park consists of some of the most prominent historic residential architecture of the era, and improvements to the park were designed with that in mind. The updated park plan features new walking paths, edge/entry definition, a formal garden expansion, lighting, landscaping and recreation improvements.
