Sanford Health Children's Hospital
Sioux Falls, South Dakota
Sanford Health selected Confluence to design a dedicated, permanent open space at the corner of its large medical campus in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The new Children’s Hospital and garden sits on approximately 5-acres of land. The formal landscape arrangement compliments the castle architecture theme of the building while open lawn areas will be used as an event space. Low growing shrubs will be used to create a children’s maze at one end of the space. A water feature will create a backdrop for a larger than life-size bronze sculpture of the donor and children.
