Rain & Hail Insurance Corporate Headquarters
Urbandale, Iowa
The corporate headquarters for Rain and Hail Insurance is located in Urbandale, Iowa and was the first site to be developed in the North Park Business Centre. The 3-story, 90,000 square foot building is nestled between two detention ponds on a 13-acre site adjacent to North Park Drive and Interstate 35/80. The site was designed to accommodate an expansion of both the building and parking to 112,000 square feet with 566 total parking stalls. The site is also connected to the entire development by a walking path allowing pedestrian movement to nearby commercial/retail areas.
Confluence led the site development and was also involved in creating the Master Plan for the entire North Park Business Centre, site selection, site master planning, building footprint development, building orientation, schematic design, design development, City approval process, construction documents, and construction observation.
