Marsh Insurance USA
Urbandale, Iowa
Confluence served as the landscape architect and planning consultant for the Marsh Insurance Building in Urbandale, Iowa. The 215,000 square foot office building has 1,100 parking stalls with expansion capabilities for both the building and parking lots. Our work included all site parking, site lighting, outdoor plazas, grading plan, and planting plan for the site. The relationship of this new building to the adjacent development was considered to promote comprehensive development of the site, allowing for pedestrian links and framed views to the surrounding amenities.
Confluence was involved with site selection, site master planning, building footprint development, building configuration and orientation, schematic design, design development, City approval documents, construction documents and construction observation.
