At Confluence, we have developed valuable expertise in designing memorable campus environments that communicate an institution’s values and priorities.  Each project has its own unique challenges and we typically address a wide range of goals such as supporting recruitment of new students, protecting critical open space, improving pedestrian safety, and making state-of-the-art facilities fit within a school’s established aesthetic character.

From creating overall campus master plans and developing district design standards to the design of high-traffic pedestrian corridors and plaza spaces, we have the site planning and design experience necessary to efficiently address the wide-ranging needs of today’s college campus.  This experience ranges from smaller community college and private university projects to repeat design commissions for several Big Ten and Big XII Conference institutions.  In fact, Confluence has contributed to the design of more than fifty campus environments across the United States.
