Coralville Sports Complex
Coralville, Iowa
Confluence provided master planning and design services for the City of Coralville for the Coralville Sports Complex. The 47-acre master plan is envisioned to support the community’s growing youth sports programs, and is anticipated to be implemented in multiple phases of construction.
The master plan for the sports complex includes 5 baseball/softball fields, 4 tee ball fields, a Babe Ruth field, 3 soccer fields, concession stand, a maintenance facility, and related parking improvements. Additional recreational amenities envisioned for the park include new playgrounds, a splash play area, and trail connections throughout the park and to adjacent areas.
The $5M first phase of the project included wetlands mitigation, 4 baseball/softball fields, 3 soccer fields, the concessions and maintenance buildings, and related parking improvements.
