    • Patrick rejoined Confluence in 2014 to lead the Iowa City office transition to Cedar Rapids. As a dually licensed architect and landscape architect he brings a unique perspective to every project, striving always to uncover creative and meaningful connections between buildings and landscapes. His experience include a broad range of building, landscape and site development projects for both public and private clients.

Connecting people to their environment is Patrick’s passion and it shows in both his architectural and landscape architectural work. He has specific expertise in campus planning and site development for colleges, universities and corporations and has successfully managed numerous large scale projects including research facilities, student housing, and general academic facilities.

Patrick received his BLA from Iowa State University in 1996, his Master of Architecture from Iowa State in August of 2001 and carries licenses in Iowa and Illinois. He and his wife, Devon, have four young children that occupy most of his time outside of the office. When not coaching youth soccer or chasing after one or all of the kids, Patrick can most often be found on his bike, on the golf course, or enjoying time away from child induced chaos with Devon.
