    • Brenda has a broad range of landscape architecture experience including public streetscapes, large institutional, corporate and commercial projects, park and campus master plan projects, as well as subdivision planning. With a background that includes seven years with a national architecture/engineering firm, nine years in a small engineering firm, and 11 years operating her own landscape architecture practice, she has an experience base that can handle any challenge.

It’s likely that the numerous summers as a teen spent in the Canadian North Woods gave Brenda a passion for the environment and a strong sense of stewardship for the land. This passion has inspired her dedication to projects that involve sustainable design and storm water infiltration, which she has advocated long before these practices became commonplace. She enjoys the creativity and holistic design that comes from a collaborative team effort and the uniqueness and design challenge that comes with each project.

Outside of work, Brenda especially enjoys time playing tennis. She and her husband, Gene, can also be found logging in an enormous number of hours watching their two daughters play college and club volleyball and traveling on the weekends to various tournaments.
