Tyler Arndt, Landscape Architect-in-Training
Tyler found his passion for landscape architecture at the intersection of his primary interests: design, science, and the great outdoors. From growing up in northern Iowa, to studying abroad while a student in Iowa State University’s Landscape Architecture program and eventually kicking off his professional career in southern California, Tyler has learned many diverse ways to successfully approach landscape design. It is these unique vantage points combined with an engrained Midwest work ethic that make Tyler a valuable member of the Confluence design team.
When away from the office, Tyler enjoys supporting his Minnesota sports teams, staying active outdoors, and becoming the next best self-proclaimed web developer.
Yanyi Li, Landscape Architect-in-Training
Building on her Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Art Design, Yanyi received her Master of Landscape Architecture from Texas A&M University. Before joining the Des Moines office of Confluence, she spent five years in Fort Lauderdale, Florida working on various projects across the globe, ranging from the landscape design of residential courtyards to master plan thousand acre developments. Yanyi always aims on delivering innovative, cost efficient, yet impactful design solutions.
Yanyi is settling down in the woods of Ames with her husband and son. In her leisure time, she should be designing and working on the landscape of her new home with her family.
Everett Eide, Landscape Architect-in-Training (AWAITING PHOTO)
Everett is a recent graduate of North Dakota State University, where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and raised in Minnetonka, Minnesota, Everett became interested in Landscape Architecture through his love of nature and interest in creating sustainable, walkable and vibrant places. Everett is excited to bring his enthusiasm and drive to Confluence’s Sioux Falls office and further his knowledge and skill set as a Landscape Architect-in- Training.
Out of the office, Everett enjoys playing guitar, listening to music, weight lifting, biking, and playing PC games.
